Star of the Week

Friday 6th July: All of Green Class - For their excellent work for the Kingfisher project and their enthusiasm and effort presenting their learning.


Friday 29th June: Evie Cretney - For her help and enthusiasm during play rehearsals and for setting a good example.


Friday 22nd June: Jack Bell - For all round effort and enthusiasm in his learning and in particular for excellent work on the Water Cycle and the Kingfisher Project.


Friday 15th June: Isla Dean - For showing excellent organisation and initiative in setting up and running Story time in the Library.  Thank you for all your hard work.  


Friday 8th June: Finlo Cretney - For showing excellent initiative to produce written explanations for our Art Work display at Salem Chapel and excellent concentration to produce an amazing mackerel still life painting. 


Thursday 24th May: Harry James - For all round excellent effort and enthusiasm towards his work and also excellent scientific questioning and engagement on our trip this week. 


Friday 18th May: Jack Ponting - For excellent extended thinking in Science over the past few weeks. 


Friday 11th May: Chris Goodman - For showing an improved effort towards his work.  


Friday 4th May: Evie Cretney - For her enthusiasm, readiness to help others and adaptability she has shown towards learning May Pole dances.  Thank you!


Friday 27th April: James Pulley - For his excellent biography writing over the past 2 weeks.  


Friday 20th April: Isla Dean - For her excellent Growth Mindset attitude particularly in Maths this week where she was very reflective about her progress.  Well done. 


Friday 29th March: Jake Manchester - For his great attitude and increased confidence when working independently.  Excellent topic work this term too!


Friday 23rd March: Mason Barrier - For excellent effort in his story writing this week. 


Friday 16th March: Yasmin Gilbride - For excellent sentence work in Literacy this week and for producing an informative book. 


Friday 9th March: Rosie Hart - For a fantastic first week in Green Class.

                             Jack Bell - For showing an excellent Growth Mindset attitude towards improving in his reading comprehensions. 


Friday 23rd February: Thomas Pulley - For showing an excellent hard working attitude in class this week.


Friday 9th February: Cain Barrier - Cain has been working so hard over the past few weeks and always tries his hardest in every piece of work.  


Friday 2nd February: Evie Cretney - For a hard working attitude in Literacy this week. She showed excellent an Growth Mindset during our reading comprehension.


Friday 25th January: Jack Bell - For an excellent learning attitude this week and also enthusiastic

participation in Collective Worship.


Friday 19th January: Finnleigh Turner - For an excellent attitude towards his writing in Literacy and attempting to use adverbials to improve his writing. 


Friday 12th January: Harry James and Jack Ponting - For always being ready to learn and listen.  


Friday 5th January: James Pulley - For extremely high quality work in his Topic book.


Friday 15th December: Finlo Cretney - For an incredible poem written in Literacy and also for showing an improved learning attitude. 


Friday 8th December: Evie Cretney - For always being enthusiastic about her learning and also transferring this enthusiasm to the Christmas play rehearsals.  Thank you for your enthusiastic singing and actions in all of the songs. 


Friday 1st December: George Paver - For showing excellent enthusiasm and determination in his work this week.


Friday 24th November: Isla Dean - For working hard and showing enthusiasm during the main teaching inputs. 


Friday 17th November: Freddie Hooper-Pickering - For an excellent learning attitude especially in Maths where he showed perseverance and determination checking his answers using the inverse operation.


Friday 10th November: Theo Laws - For an excellent week all round and for showing an increased level of maturity.


Friday 3rd November: Jack Ponting - For always demonstrating an excellent learning attitude, showing eagerness to answer questions and taking pride in his work. 


Friday 13th October: Leighlu Turner - For exceptional care and attention to detail when recreating Egyptian Art. 


Friday 6th October: Theo Hutton - For a fabulous attitude towards his work and showing determination in his learning. 


Friday 29th September: Aaron Langmaid – For persevering and being brave about his learning.


Friday 22nd September: Harry James - For identifying that he has made progress in his maths through making mistakes.  Also for showing an excellent learning attitude in everything he does.
