A big thank you to all the Little Otters parents for your flexibility in dropping off at different places and for ensuring a range of clothing is available for our impromptu outings.
This week we had a wonderful walk in the mud in the lane behind Smith's Farm, the children all walked beautifully on what was really quite a long walk for little legs. We also had a wonderful day at Otterton on Wednesday when we celebrated all things Scottish. Another higlught of the week was the wonderful 'singing assembly' led by Mrs Appleby on Tuesday when Little Otters enjoyed learning another new song which they were given the opportunity to sing in church on Thursday. Several parents have asked me to provide song sheets so you can continue to sing at home, look out for them next week.
Next week also looks full of excitement with the lovely Jess Ridout coming in to Drakes to do an activity with the children on Tuesday and another day at Otterton to celebrate the Chinese new year on Wednesday. During the day at Otterton the children will be learning a dance which they will perform to parents in the afternoon. I will let you know timings on Wednesday, please drop off at Otterton as soon after 9.00 a.m as possible and pick up from 2.45.
Little Otters will be collecting jumble for our fundraising sale on 3rd March from the week after half term. We are also collecting any unwanted bras to send off seperately for a charity collection.
As always if you have any worries or concerns do let us know.
With best wishes
