The children have settled really well into red class this week. Our new starters in both reception and year one have quickly become part of the class and school. We have been looking at the idea of growth mindset with the children;encouraging them to persevere and to keep on trying. This will be a continual, underlying focus as we move forward through the term.
We will be starting our work on the book " Tell Me a Dragon." The children are very excited about this and can't wait to begin. We will be creating some dragon eggs and making individual designs. In Number we will be assessing the children's knowledge and using this to move forward in our use of basic number skills.
