First Half Autumn Term 2017/2018
This week we have begun learning about our first literacy text: Rosie Revere, Engineer. Children have written diary entries and letters as Rosie, explaining about her interesting inventions.
In maths we have been learning about place value and children have been working with numbers to find 1/10/100 more or less than numbers to 100 and 1000.
We learnt facts about Queen Victoria and began learning and performing rhythms from around the world.
Next week we will continue with Rosie Revere, begin to learn about Brunel and continue our work on place value.
We will also be electing our new School Councilors. As part of their homework this week children can write an election speech which they will be able to read to the class. Will hold elections before Wednesday and announce our new School Councilors on the website on Friday.
