HANDBALL FESTIVAL - October 2018

Well done to our handball teams who took part in the handball festival this week.  They enjoyed the opportunity to play mini matches of our new sport against teams from other local primary schools.

I was very impressed with how quickly they picked up the game and its rules and how well the teams were able to organise themselves.

We are very proud of you all.

CROSS COUNTRY - OCTOBER 2018

Well done to all of our children who took part in the cross country event at Bicton Arena. It was a hilly course this year and you all pushed yourselves to give your very best!

There were over 200 hundred children, from local primary schools, who took part in the event.  We are not only proud of the effort you put into your running but of the support that you gave to one another.

A special mention for our top ten finishers - Harry who finished 7th in the year 5/6 boys race and Henry who finished 6th in the year 3/4 boys race.

ELC TAG RUGBY TOURNAMENT

On Monday 26th March our Year 3/4 tag rugby team took part in the Exmouth Learning Community Tag Rugby Tournament.  They played brilliantly - for some of them this was the first time they had played in a competitive match - and represented our school in exemplary fashion.  We finished joint third overall.

A huge well done to all of the children who took part.
