On Wednesday 24th March Class Two turned their classroom into an Ancient Mayan wing of the Otterton Museum. Children worked hard over the half term break to 'discover' ancient relics from the Mayan civilisation. We used these in class as a prompt for our writing. We were also lucky enough to have Arthur's mum come in and create ancient Mayan Glyph Blocks from clay. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the museum a success and for the positive effect that the anticipation of the event has had on the children's work.
