Kingfishers have had another busy week - there has been lots of fabulous learning going on. In maths, the children have been working hard on division. They have concentrated and listened carefully and have improved their methods for long and short division. In Literacy, we have been editing and writing up our instructions - look out for these on the stairs alongside our photos from 'Apple Pressing Day'.
In topic, we are continuing our work on World War 1. Please look at our beautiful Remembrance poems which are on display in the church.
A big WELL DONE to Rory, Bailey, Maddie and Rowan who took part in a Maths morning on Tuesday at St. Peter's, Lympstone. They represented our class brilliantly and enjoyed their lunch! Also, well done to Maddie, Dominika, Rory, Bailey, Isaac and Archie who attend the Maths Challenge Morning at Exmouth Community College on Friday morning.
Homework will be set on a Wednesday and due in by the following Monday. Spellings will be set on Fridays and need to be learnt for the following Friday (spellings are in the home learning section of the Kingfisher page as well as stuck into reading journals).
